Job Summary
Prepares equipment and work areas throughout the radiology department for exams.
The staff member must be able to set-up, operate and maintain any equipment needed for exams.
They will also stock rooms and maintain supply levels.
He/she is expected to assist the technologist before, during and after care.
This staff member is also responsible for prescreening of all MR patients.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintains and organizes the radiology exams rooms and supplies to facilitate departmental function
- Maintains proper use of all equipment needed to preform procedures within all radiology modalities
- Consults technologist to determine needs daily for all procedures
- Collects information by interview from patient, family and healthcare providers for technologist to preform final MRI safety screening
- Procedural room turnover and setup
- Charger capture
- Stock room and manager stock
- Positions patient when required

BLS - Basic Life SupportRequired Education and Experience
Required Education:
High School/GED
Preferred Education, Experience & Cert/Lic
- Minimum of 1 year of operation room experience or equivalent technical experience in health related field is preferred
- Previous experience in medical field preferred,
- Knowledge in Par Ex, par vision, Lawson preferred
- Epic experience preferred
- Good communication skills
- Excellent phone skills
Additional Technical Requirements
