Job Summary

Prepares equipment and work areas throughout the radiology department for exams.
The staff member must be able to set-up, operate and maintain any equipment needed for exams.
They will also stock rooms and maintain supply levels.
He/she is expected to assist the technologist before, during and after care.
This staff member is also responsible for prescreening of all MR patients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintains and organizes the radiology exams rooms and supplies to facilitate departmental function
  • Maintains proper use of all equipment needed to preform procedures within all radiology modalities
  • Consults technologist to determine needs daily for all procedures
  • Collects information by interview from patient, family and healthcare providers for technologist to preform final MRI safety screening
  • Procedural room turnover and setup
  • Charger capture
  • Stock room and manager stock
  • Positions patient when required

BLS - Basic Life Support

Required Education and Experience

Required Education:
High School/GED

Preferred Education, Experience & Cert/Lic

  • Minimum of 1 year of operation room experience or equivalent technical experience in health related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in medical field preferred,
  • Knowledge in Par Ex, par vision, Lawson preferred
  • Epic experience preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent phone skills

Additional Technical Requirements

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
