Description
ADI's Automotive Infotainment business unit seeks a Systems Engineer skilled in DSP audio systems to provide product systems support for the development and implementation of audio systems for the automotive industry. Role includes involvement in product definition and development, pre- and post-sales support.
Responsibilities include:
Helping define, improve and support existing DSP products and frameworks, participating in customer visits and serving as part of the product development team.
Presenting and interpreting design, application and service information to customers.
Assisting sales staff in assessing potential application of ADI's products to meet customer needs by preparing system, DSP and software specifications and providing audio consulting.
Responding to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix DSP, uC or algorithm related problems.
Reporting design, reliability and maintenance problems/bugs to design and software engineering.
Participating in evaluation of final results of applied research and development projects.
Successfully driving newer applications, algorithm design and out-of-the-box concepts to the automotive infotainment industry.
Qualifications
Masters degree or PhD with 10 or more years of electrical engineering audio industry experience, or equivalent directly related education/experience.
Demonstrated track record of competence and success in:
Applying system level understanding and deep expertise in various signal chain components in audio electronics, including loudspeakers, audio converters, Class D amplifiers, algorithms, measurement systems, psychoacoustics, analog and digital signal processing.
DSP frameworks, algorithm implementations, DSP/uC integration, peripherals and Analog IC understanding.
Bring-up, debug, validation and optimization of audio electronics systems within DSP and microcontroller audio systems.
In-depth understanding of DSP systems, signal processing algorithms, digital signal processors and embedded software.
Familiarity with standard lab equipment for audio electronics including Audio Precision and other electro - acoustic measurement systems.
Presenting technical information in a customer facing role, including higher levels of technical and senior management stakeholders.
Candidates demonstrating knowledge/skill in the following areas will be given preference:
Analog Devices DSP's, including SigmaDSP, SigmaStudio and/or SHARC processors
Microcontrollers and microprocessors, ARM
Knowledge of acoustic transducers and transducer analyzing equipment (Klippel, SoundCheck, ARTA, etc.)
Designing PCB's for mixed signal applications.
Exemplary oral, written, presentation communication and collaboration skills, especially in a dynamic and globally dispersed, diverse organization.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
