ADI's Automotive Safety team is seeking a Marketing & Applications Engineering Manager. As a key member of the Automotive Safety Leadership Team, this person will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and tactics to drive our world-wide revenue and profit growth in Passive Safety, Active Safety and Advanced Driver Assistance applications. They will build and manage a world-class marketing and application team capable of supporting our global Automotive Safety customers in the best possible ways.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and applying strategic vision to imagine and shape innovations in the industry
Developing annual business plans to translate strategic vision into specific action to drive engineering priorities; aligning and managing priorities, budgets and resources
Developing and facilitating relationships with leaders at key accounts and industry groups
Fostering an ambitious, collaborative environment with sales, internal development teams, quality and manufacturing; creating and nurturing enthusiasm around the strategic directions of the organization
Selecting, motivating, supporting, coaching, developing their staff
Setting priorities, reporting on progress and driving diverse, geographically-dispersed teams in a dynamic, continuously changing environment
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline, MBA preferred, with at least 10 years' directly relevant marketing/leadership experience or equivalent education/progressive experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge/experience in automotive business, technology and quality requirements and expectations.
Demonstrated track record of success in
o Understanding the fundamentals of the business and adapting strategies to address market dynamics/changes;
o Developing business strategies, plans and tactics;
o Leading customer engagements and negotiations

For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
