Description: Chipton-Ross is seeking a End User Support Tech.
Major purpose:
Provides technical support to end-users for personal computer systems software, hardware and network connectivity. Installs, configures and troubleshoots laptop/desktop/tablets systems configurations and other approved technology devices and connectivity issues. May assign and maintain user passwords.
Major functions:
o Provide technical support related to Windows-based workstations (desktop/laptop) and peripherals
o Respond to user service calls and service request tickets to troubleshoot and resolve reported incidents related to workstations
o Build and configure workstations
o Install and support hardware components in workstations
o Install and support operating systems and common software in workstations
o Support MS Office suite for end users
o Provisioning and support of smart phones (iPhone, Android, Windows)
o Suggest and assist management in buying new hardware and software
o Document, conduct audits and manage software licensing for workstations
o Develop and maintain documentation for systems, processes and procedures for IT department
Education/
Experience:
o 3-5 years of experience in desktop support
o Proficiency in MS OS and other regular COTS software
o Basic networking and server skills
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Strong customer service skills
o Bachelor Degree Preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
