Description:

We are looking for a candidate for the role of technical writer, who has excellent Technical Writing skills and has worked in a manufacturing environment; experience writing detailed work instructions and procedures is important.
The role of the Technical Writer will be to work as a resource in writing and maintaining technical documents, specifically assembly and test procedures for complex aerospace hardware build processes. You will be responsible for creating or updating various types of documents including procedures, templates and work instructions.
o Work with employees from various departments (e.g. Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Quality) to identify and capture the information to be conveyed. Write work instructions and procedures for the assembly, integration and test of optical telescope assemblies.
o Manage reviews of procedures with multiple functions.
o Ensure document content quality by consistently managing and organizing information for accuracy and readability.
o Establish and manage relationships from document to document, within document content, or to other points of reference for information.
REQUIREMENTS
Assembly, test procedure and detailed work instruction documentation of electromechanical products in a manufacturing environment
PREFERRED
Local to Wilmington, MA candidates preferred
DOD experience preferred
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
