Responsibilities:
oResponsible for developing a diverse, high performance team aligned to technical and business strategy
oAccountable for maintaining transparency into the state of a team's initiatives including expected delivery date, dependencies, and impediments
oImprove the ability of team's capabilities both technically and operationally
oManage complex projects which can cross team boundaries; often addressing requirements and objectives which may initially be ambiguous and need to be refined by working with the Product Owner
oClearly articulate and communicate expectations around delivery dates as projects commence and as they run
oProactively monitor and identify metrics that can effectively report the overall health of projects and systems to mitigate risk and resolve issues before they are experienced by other groups/clients
oEstablish goals and prioritize work assignments of direct reports based on direction from the VP of Software Engineering
oWork with the Chief Architect to contribute to and drive the execution of the technical roadmap based on input from the business and product advisory boards
oConduct performance reviews of team members and coach them along their paths to continued professional development
oHelp teams establish a consistent process based on good software practices such as Agile, Scrum & Lean.
oChampion a culture of a continual learning and improvement
REQUIREMENTS:
Technical skills
oDirect project involvement and leadership of projects built with technologies including Java, .Net Framework, SQL Server, Oracle
oUnderstanding of SaaS, web services, ORM, XML, and web applications
oClient Software product knowledge or enterprise software experience a plus
oKnowledge of enterprise software environments and deployment approaches for SaaS offerings
oStrong understanding of multiple development practices such as agile/scrum, XP
oExperience coaching others including task based mentoring and one on one coaching
oExperience with large scale ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP and MS Dynamics a plus

Preferred Skills &
Experience:
o5
years of working experience in enterprise software design and development, preferably in Microsoft technologies
oProven capability as a lead software engineer or team manager utilizing an iterative and repeatable development process
oTrack record of delivering scalable, high quality, enterprise software solutions
oBroad-based technical expertise including a strong understanding of programming concepts, database design, system architecture, and a detailed understanding of how things work
oEstablished people management skills with the ability to drive individuals and team to realize their potential
Educational Requirements:
oBA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related area, or equivalent experience
oMS/Advanced Degree preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
