A large, privately held and rapidly growing travel company seeks an experienced Release Engineer. Candidates with deployment and production experience, particularly in an E-commerce environment are encouraged to apply. This role will be supporting an industry-leading travel distribution platform comprised of two applications, including a middleware platform connecting to multiple global partners and an eCommerce website platform. The Release Engineer should have experience working cross functionally between development, product management, quality assurance, and other engineering efforts during the building and deployment of these applications.
Company seeks an experienced Release Engineer with in-depth knowledge of Build/Release Engineering, including DevOps methodologies. Those that keep up to date with the latest developments and cutting edge technologies in Release Engineering are encouraged to apply. Required technical skills are outlined as follows:
Required Technical Requirements:
1) Linux operating system skills
2) Solid scripting skills
3) Experience using Apache Web Server
4) Experience working application servers such as JBoss and/or Apache Tomcat
