Automotive RADAR Systems Architect
Successful candidate shall possess a practical knowledge of 24/77/79 GHz Automotive Radar system concepts and architectures and will be responsible to lead the definition of next-generation of scalable automotive radar chipset, working across various technology teams within ADI as well as to validate concept with lead customers.
Job description
Responsible for definition of Automotive Radar technical roadmap and function partitioning, working in close cooperation with Product Lines Development Teams, Partners, System Engineering/Application, Strategic Marketing and Lead Customers
Explore, analyze and simulate advanced innovative radar system concepts and architectures.
Derive key specifications for all function blocks (Rx-/TX-MMIC, Ramp-PLL, Tx, Rx, Analog and Digital Baseband)
Define uWave Package Requirements.
Evaluate Radar Function Blocks and Chipsets
Qualifications
MS Electrical or Physics Engineering Degree (PhD preferred)
Experience in high frequency technology, especially active and passive circuits (discrete and integrated),
Experience in radar antenna construction and design
Experience in the field of radar technology, radar signal processing, and signal chain simulation, e.g. as radar system designer or radar system architect at a leading Automotive Tier1 (e.g. Continental, Valeo, Bosch, Autoliv);
Knowledge in various Automotive Radar System Architectures and Topologies.
Knowledge in Automotive Radar System Challenges and Requirements.
Strong background in RF and antenna/transmission line design (24 and 77 GHz).
