DESCRIPTION:
Mixed-Signal Design Manager will be responsible for the overall development and execution of high performance mixed-signal ASICs used in MSTs gyro and accelerometer products. Candidate must be a proven leader who can bring technical knowledge and experience together with strong management and leadership skills and a track record of successful development in Mixed-Signal IC design . This individual is expected to provide technical vision, leadership and guidance across multiple projects, transferring knowledge to the development teams and will be responsible for the activities of design teams located in the US, Europe, India and Asia.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with marketing and engineering to develop specifications, project schedules and resource plans to ensure commitments are met
Develop comprehensive strategies to ensure that best practices and industry standard methodologies are well understood and followed
Work with design teams to develop implementation strategies which ensure that make best possible trade-offs of performance, cost, TTM, risk, etc. are being made
Develop a comprehensive review process to cover all stages of the design process
Develop and execute on staffing and resource plans and effectively managing resources
Developing and implementing efficient project planning processes, including scheduling, milestone tracking and on-time delivery of projects, metrics, and continuous improvement
Qualifications REQUIREMENTS:
MS or PhD with 10
years of demonstrated mixed design management capability
Proven track record in the successful design and physical implementation of high performance CMOS circuits/blocks from concept to product introduction.
Strong organization and communication skills and customer involvement are a must
