Summary:
Seeking an Account Payable Assistant with professional experience in finance or accounting, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounts payable software.
Requirements:
Professional experience in a finance or accounting-related role.
Experience communicating with internal and external customers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience using accounts payable software.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Exceptional organizational skills with a reliable ability to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Manage A/P Inbox, including processing and validating invoices, processing credit memos, and responding to internal purchase order inquiries.
Route inquiries for supplier set up, remit to update requests and refunds.
Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies.
Collaborate with purchasing and receiving departments to resolve invoice-related issues in the workflow.
Respond promptly to vendor inquiries within 24 hours.
Perform special AP projects as assigned.
Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, scanning, and distributing.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to ascend/descend ladders or stairs and withstand proximity to loud equipment.
Must be able to occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time as well as move throughout the office/production environment.
Must have good vision capable of identifying dangerous situations.
Must be comfortable wearing personal protective gear when touring the production floor.
Pay Details:
$18.
00 to $24.
