This role is responsible for Sales & Marketing functions, interacting with senior leadership and department VPs to lead planning, reporting, and business analysis.
The successful candidate will influence business decisions and drive organizational priorities.
The position reports to the Vice President of Finance.
The Finance department acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support proactive and optimal business decision-making.
As a member of the Finance team at Tracelink, you will also be involved in other aspects of the finance department activities.
Responsibilities:
The below duties represent the primary duties of the position, other may be assigned as needed.
Be a strategic finance business partner and provide thought leadership to our Sales, GTM and strategy teams.
Supervise commissions, compensation planning processes.
Supervise the preparation of monthly sales commissions accruals and payouts along with commission expense GL entries.
Serve as business partner for various sales group in responding to commissions and special incentives inquiries.
Create and track sales and marketing metrics/KPIs and leverage those relevant metrics to drive data-informed decision making with the sales and marketing teams.
Build relationships with Sales & Marketing heads to become a trusted financial partner to assist in accurate forecasting, supporting analysis/reporting.
Support GTM strategies, ARR Growth initiatives, LTV/CAC etc Conduct variance analysis, outlining the cause of change versus budget, forecast, and prior year, highlighting risks and opportunities for improvement.
Support financial month-end closing activities by working closely with the accounting team; this includes reviewing expense accruals.
Lead annual budget, quarterly forecast and monthly reporting - including but not limited to bookings, revenue, commissions, sales and marketing expenses and headcounts.
Act as the trusted business advisor to the functional budget owners providing data and high-quality easy to understand analysis that helps inform resource and investment allocation decisions.
Support and maintain Adaptive planning model.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance Required, MBA a Plus 5
years FP&A Management Experience 10
years in Finance role, 3
in similar role; preferably in high growth SaaS company.
Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, sales and marketing and ability to create meaningful detailed analysis to inform decision.
Advanced experience with analytics/modeling Familiarity with developing/maintaining operations headcount models.
Experience working with C-suite executives and VPs in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Experience with Finance systems preferred:
Xactly, Salesforce, Adaptive insights, Workday, NetSuite.
Demonstrated ability to effectively develop planning calendars and meet deadlines.
Recommended Skills Accounting Data Analysis Decision Making Finance Financial Planning And Analysis Forecasting Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
