Job Description:
Leads, directs and reviews the work of direct report(s) who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.
Communicates within and outside of organization to explain and influence changes to policies, practices, or approaches.
Makes significant improvements in processes, systems, or products.
Establishes short-term operational plans with measurable contribution to function or business area results.
Lead all aspects of the Supply Chain process from proposal stage through Program award and execution.
Determines feasibility of material, components, specifications or requirements and supports product development activities, including proposal support, engineering change impacts to Supply Chain and analyzes market trends and supplier capacity.
Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to effectively time phase material to service cash flow objectives and program schedule.
Plan, schedule and drive the efficient movement of material from identification of the requirement to delivery to the end user.
Define raw material scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules.
Manage material cost and schedule, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and affordability with the ability to predict, identify and reconcile any relevant Supply Chain disruptions that develop throughout the program life cycle.
Coordinate key cross functional Supply Chain resources to insure scale-able internal capacity.
Coordinate material distribution with purchasing, warehouse, and end user.
Establish, track, and report EVMS performance for large budget programs.
Plan and schedule materials, equipment, and commodity products of high complexity for government and commercial programs.
Identify and mitigate supplier risk with active engagement in process improvements to continually increase efficiency and effectiveness Work with purchasing and quality on corrective action measures with Suppliers when necessary and assessing trends in performance to prevent delays or cost overrun Develop strategies, implement plans, and track progress for cost savings initiatives.
Provide timely and accurate Supply Chain updates to Senior Management
Essential Functions:
Motivated self-starter well versed in the Supply Chain Process Flow and managing material in the areas of schedule and cost.
Ability to manage, train, and motivate direct reports.
Ability to generate spending plans, forecasts, and variance reports Communicates with parties within and outside of the organization which includes customers or vendors.
Manage program budgets and explain variances in monthly performance.
Ability to navigate FAR regulations and internal procedures for compliance.
Support Small Business Initiatives, as applicable.
Follow strategic direction set by Program and functional leadership
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 9 years of related experience, OR Graduate degree with a minimum of 7 years of related experience.
7-9 years of previous Material Management experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
TS/SCI clearance preferred.
Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software.
Knowledge of and experience with FAR, MMAS, SOX, and CAS requirements, as well as ITAR and EAR regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Products.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
